Double Warranty with Enhance Shutters & Blinds

Warranties aren't much good if the business you purchase from closes down! Even if you were able to repair them yourself, where would you get replacement parts from... especially if it's an imported product.

Here at Enhance Shutters & Blinds we leave the manufacturing for the experts and we just install the finished product and supply the after sales service. The bonus in this for you is that Enhance Shutters & Blinds warrants the job AND you also have the manufacturer backing that up. The warranty card you receive includes the Australian manufacturers details so if you ever need to make a claim and Enhance Shutters & Blinds is no longer around you are still covered. Win Win!!!

Thumbs up man photo

Here at Enhance Shutters & Blinds I sell high quality product covered by industry leading warranties. I don't dilute the warranty by including unfair get out clauses. To that effect, I have nothing to hide and I'm happy to publish my warranties below. They are at a minimum on par with my competitors, although you will find that they generally well exceed the majority of my competitors.

Nothing to Hide!

Roller Blind Warranty

5 Year All Inclusive Warranty | 5 Year Motorisation Warranty:

All fabrics are covered by a 5 year warranty (unless advised otherwise). Acmeda Automate motors, remote controls and accessories are warranted for 5 years, unless otherwise specified. All hardware and the installation is covered by a 5 year warranty.

This warranty solely covers the replacement or repair of the roller blind, motorisation and hardware, including the removal and re-installation.

2 Year Limited All Inclusive Warranty (Commercial & Rental):

All commercial and residential rental properties are covered by a 2 year all inclusive warranty. The exact same conditions apply as the above standard 5 year warranty.

What's not Covered:

This warranty is for the benefit of the original purchaser and is not transferable. This warranty does not cover colour variations which exist between dye lots or batches or any situation arising where damage to the blind has occurred through failure to follow prescribed instructions with respect to cleaning or maintenance.

It does not cover unauthorised repairs, accidents, alterations, misuse, abuse, acts of God, normal wear and tear, limited fading over the lifetime of the product or exposure to unsuitable conditions or extreme outdoor elements.

It does not cover damage to anything else including (but not limited to) furniture, opening architraves or walls. Please remember to ensure your windows are closed in strong wind and/or rain/storms. This will avoid any damage to the blinds as well as your furniture and walls, as this is not covered by the warranty.

In addition, warranty does not apply to any blind that has been deemed outside of the product size limits of 3000mm wide. If this clause applies to you, you will have been informed in writing prior to you placing your order.

Side/Light Gaps

In all instances, the fabric on the Roller Blind will be narrower than the ‘bracket to bracket’ size of the blind. Light gaps will be most prominent when the blind is fitted as a ‘reveal mount’ (inside mount) and more noticeable when the blind is a blockout fabric. A gap of approximately 14mm to 20mm per side should be expected. A gap between the fabric of two ‘butted’ blinds is approximately 17 to 40mm depending on the linking system used. At all times we try to line this gap with the window mullions.

Smaller Width Roller Blinds

Roller Blinds with a width of 600mm or less are susceptible to the fabric rolling off to one side and may result in the fabric rolling unevenly and overlapping the end of the tube. This does not mean the blind is out of square. It is caused by the lack of weight in a small blind, even at full length drop. In most circumstances we have methods to eliminate/reduce this from happening.

Larger Width Roller Blinds

Roller Blinds with a width over 2400mm or larger than 6sqm may show a degree of fabric V'ing and this is normally more visible/noticeable when viewed from the inside. V'ing is the result of the roller blind tube deflecting due to the weight of the fabric and the span of the roller blind. Some fabrics show this more than others. It doesn't happen often and there is no way to knowing when it will happen. We use heavy duty hardware to reduce the likelihood of this happening. V'ing is NOT a warranty issue and this is considered a limitation of the product.

Fabric indentations after install

Sometimes the fabric may have indentations visible after the roller blind is installed. This is caused by the roller blind being rolled up for transportation. To fix this, it's best to leave the blind lowered to allow the sun to heat the fabric. In almost all cases this will disappear within a couple of weeks but can take up to 4 to 6 weeks. Some fabrics are much worse for this then other fabrics.

Stains and Dirt:

The warranty does not cover stains and dirt. The warranty card will indicate the recommended method to remove dirt and stains from the fabric.

Vertical Blind Warranty

2 Year All Inclusive Warranty

All fabrics are covered by a two (2) year warranty (unless advised otherwise). All hardware and the installation is covered by a two (2) year warranty.

This warranty solely covers the replacement or repair of the vertical blind and hardware, including the removal and re-installation.

What's not Covered:

This warranty is for the benefit of the original purchaser and is not transferable. This warranty does not cover colour variations which exist between dye lots or batches or any situation arising where damage to the blind has occurred through failure to follow prescribed instructions with respect to cleaning or maintenance.

In addition, warranty does not apply to any blind that has been deemed outside of the product size limits. If this clause applies to you, you will have been informed in writing prior to you placing your order.

Light Gaps

In all instances, light gaps on vertical blind installations is normal as these blinds are not a 100% light block option.

Fabric indentations after install

Normally the fabric will have indentations visible and a wave in the fabric after the vertical blind is installed. This is caused by the fabric being rolled up for transportation. This will fix itself with time and the sun to heat the fabric.

Stains and Dirt:

The warranty does not cover stains and dirt. The warranty card will indicate the recommended method to remove dirt and stains from the fabric.
